The NEPTUNE Canada program has announced two new job opportunities including the need for an Instrument Scientist and a Marine Equipment Technologist.
NEPTUNE Canada, a regional-scale cabled observatory, is located off the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The observatory network, extending across the Juan de Fuca plate, gathers live data from instruments deployed in a number of environments. Data are transmitted via high-speed fiber optic communications from the seafloor to a data archival system at the University of Victoria. Visit the NEPTUNE Canada website to learn more about the network.
