Ocean Networks Canada will be holding three workshops on various aspects of ocean observing in the coming months.

The first workshop, co-sponsored by Dalhousie University, will be held in November in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  This workshop focuses on visualizing data from the NEPTUNE Canada and VENUS undersea network.

The remaining two workshops will be held in San Francisco, CA in early December.  The first discusses the Endeavour Hydrothermal Systems on the Juan de Fuca Ridge.  Dr. Deborah Kelley from the OOI Regional Scale Node component, will be the keynote speaker.

The second December workshop discusses potential interdisciplinary opportunities that would arise from connecting the NEPTUNE network to CORKs at IODP 1027 deep-sea site on the eastern flank of the Juan de Fuca Ridge.
