Edward P. Dever
Oregon State University
Dr. Dever played a leadership role in the design, construction, and operation of OOI. He now oversees the Northeast Pacific Endurance Array component of OOI, where he sets science directions and oversees OOI work and deployment and recovery. The Endurance Array includes two cross-shelf moored array lines and up to four gliders. Each of moored lines contains three fixed sites associated with unique physical, geological, and biological processes across the shelf and slope. Dever’s research interests include air-sea interaction, cross-shelf exchange processes and the influence of these processes on regional ecosystem dynamics.
