Dr. Dever played a leadership role in the design, construction, and operation of OOI. He now oversees the Northeast Pacific Endurance Array component of OOI, where he sets science directions and oversees OOI work and deployment and recovery. The Endurance Array includes two cross-shelf moored array lines. Each of the lines contain three fixed sites associated with unique physical, geological, and biological processes across the shelf and slope. Dever’s research interests include cross-shelf exchange processes, the analysis and prediction of Lagrangian transport, and air-sea interaction.
