During the cruise the OOI team, led by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, will deploy three Coastal Surface Moorings and two Coastal Surface-Piercing profilers.
After five successful, large-scale deployment cruises this summer and fall across Coastal, Global, and Cabled systems, the OOI project is moving toward completion of the construction phase. A revised installation schedule is now available here.
The remainder of the OOI infrastructure will be deployed this winter/spring. Argentine Basin & Southern Ocean will be deployed in February & March 2015. Final Endurance Array & Pioneer Array deployments are scheduled for April 2015.
